Review: My First Taste of Pho

Pho is a Vietnamese noodle soup and a couple of weeks ago I had my first taste. You can't see the noodles underneath but they're there. I really enjoyed my first taste of Pho. I must say it was definitely a departure from my normal food selections. Just in case you don't already know Pho is thinly sliced beef that is cut and cooked in an amazing broth. The noodles are rice noodles. Would l have this dish again????? Maybe....

Mac Pro Longwear SPF 10 Foundation, Concealer & Lipglass

I wanted to give it at least a week before I posted my review on the Mac Pro Longwear foundation and concealer. First, let me start off by giving you my skin type. I have oily skin and while I don't mind it at all sometimes it can make it a little difficult to purchase foundations that work. With other foudations when I get oily my foundation gets really red and darker.

What I find with this new foundation is I look the same at the end of the day as I did at the beginning of the day. I mean, this stuff really holds up well! Any yes, I was shocked!! It really evens out my skin tone and brings out the golden undertons in my skin. In the past, I preferred bringing out the red undertones in my skin. But, what I found it is that when I go with showcasing my gold undertones it makes my bronzer standout even more.

As far as the concealer is concerned, I was really shocked at how good it covered my blemishes. The only thing that I do kind of feel a little concerned about is the consistancy of the product. Make no mistake MAC Pro Longwear concealer is not as thick as my regular concealer MAC Studio Finish Concealer. My Studio Finsih Concealer lasted a really long time. However, I am not sure how long Pro Longwear is going to last beacause I notice that I have to use a little more than I care to use. So as of right now, the verdict is still out on how long I think it will last.

Finally, I purchased the MAC Lady Gaga Lipglass. I like it, but I have noticed how dry lips get after I put it on. Of course, this could have something to do with the winter weather. Right now, I like it and I think it is cute to wear.

My Version of Khloe's Look

Okay, so I did Khloe's makeup look in the photo below. Of course, I changed a few things to suite my skin tone and likes. Here are a few pics of my makeup.

The Kardashian Sisters

People always ask why they are famous. But, really why was Marilyn Monroe famous? Simply because she was beautiful. Now, don't get me wrong I LOVE Marilyn. She was and is still a fashion icon even to this day. But, my love for these girls is growing because of their fabulous style. Their make-up is just amazing in this photo. I am definitely going to be coping this look for my company party on Saturday. I think I am going to go with Khloe's look. I love how sultry she looks by the eyes but her lips are light and flirty. I can't wait to post pics of the event and of course, and most importantly, my look.

My Christmas List

I have already started making my Christmas list. This year I'm all about quality and luxury.  I have been eyeing the Michael Kors purses for a long time and I have decided that this year I am going to get one. A new Michael Kors store just opened at the Galleria Mall. I walked around and scanned all of the precious eye candy there. The purses looked of good quality and felt so good, I definetly know that for me leather is what I want when it come to my purse. Oh, and what lady would want a purse without a matching wallet. What kind of lady would I be????

I have also given some serious thoughts to my other needs at the moment. I need a new watch. As I walked around the Michael Kors store I looked at the beautifully displayed watches. I am totally feeling the over sized watch look this season. I realize to be truthful that it's not so new because Sarah Jessica Parker was sporting the look during the HBO series of Sex and The City. Man, I love that show! Anyways, I've got to have this gold watch. My only real reservation is that I don't typically wear gold jewelry. I know, some say that you no longer have the match your jewelry but I guess I am old school. Then, I see this gorgeous silver watch that I would like just as much and maybe even more. I know I would probably get more wear out of it. I am just in love with the way Michael Kors makes his watches look. He even has a watch made from horn. Honestly, for me that's a first. I'm not quite sure what I'd do with a watch made of horn but it's actually pretty reasonable.

I'm headed back to the Galleria this weekend with a friend of mine.  I have got to find a signature scent that I love. I found an amazing scent by Dior that I need to make sure it will smell good on me and go with my body chemicals. I went to Wal-Mart this evening after work and I saw so many deals on perfume. I can't decide which one I want or if I want any. I saw Usher's perfume for women called UR for $20. Then, I say Sarah Jessica Parker's first perfume Lovely with the roller ball  for only $30. Man, I have some tough decisions to make. Not to mention the decisions that I am making on what to get  for family and friends. I love this time of year!!!

As of this moment, I am schedule to host Christmas in my little one bedroom apartment. But hey, it's all good! I am just looking forward to the Cajun Deep Fried Turkey!!!!!! I'll keep you posted on how it all goes!
